Taiko Foods have a dedicated Technical team whose main aim is to give our customers complete peace of mind.
We are proud to maintain British Retail Consortium accreditation against the recognised BRC Technical Standard for Food Manufacturers.
We are regularly audited by our customers and other external bodies and we always welcome the opportunity for constructive feedback and suggestions for improvement.
A comprehensive Quality Manual details operational quality standards and systems.Ongoing investment ensures that we have the correct equipment and procedures to consistently supply safe products to the correct quality standards that our customers expect.
Factory Standards
Sushi manufacture is strictly controlled at all stages of the process, from raw material receipt to final product dispatch.
Factory procedures are rigorous and designed to ensure high standards are continually met.
All staff undertake Basic Food Hygiene training (CIEH approved).
Proactive and dedicated Quality Assurance and Quality Control staff oversee production within our high risk environment to ensure optimum product quality and safety. Continuous on line quality checking during assembly is vital to the success of the final product. All final products are checked to ensure adherence to strict customer specifications.
HACCP
Our HACCP System is thorough and has been developed over a number of years. A fully trained HACCP team ensure that it is subject to regular review and auditing to maintain its relevance and effectiveness.
Technical Support.
We offer full technical support for our products. This includes product specifications, allergen status, microbiological quality and nutritional information.
