Sushi can be eaten at any time of the day, for breakfast, for a snack or as a family dinner. It can be a complete meal, or just a bite to eat. That is why it is a great food, because anyone can eat it anytime they wish.
To eat Sushi correctly, one must dip only the fish into the soy sauce and then eat each piece as one. It is not recommended to dip the rice into the soy sauce, as the rice has already been flavoured and it is important to enjoy the rice taste as well as the taste of the fish. With Maki or roll pieces, the pieces can be dipped into soy sauce however the person wishes. Between pieces of Sushi, one should eat a small piece of pickled ginger to the palate.
